Salty Boys was founded by a boat owners for boat owners.
It all started when many friends and club members were in need of boat repairs. There was a lack of service techs in the area that would come out to repair vessels, and with only so many options for moorage and haul out, it left many at a loss or left to fend for themselves with their repair and upgrade needs, or pay much more for a tech to come from an outside area. The owners were already well versed in diesel repair, as well as heavy machinery repair and electrical certifications for 12 and 24v systems, and from their a business idea bloomed. Why make the customers come to you when you can bring the repairs to the customer? From there, Salty Boys took off helping friends and colleagues complete the repairs and troubleshoot their problems on board.
Today, We are still here to help boaters get the services they need while keeping their best interests in mind, and their pocket books at ease. With affordable hourly service rates, we help alleviate the financial burden of having to call out for service.
